The Gables Inn Sausalito is a renovated and redecorated historic boutique hotel. Separate additions include 4 rooms with panoramic bay views and a cottage with views and a large front porch. Each guest room at the Gables Inn is artfully decorated with calm furnishings, comfort-giving amenities, with accents of textures and colors that envelop you in a quiet elegance.
There is an additional $25.00 plus tax charge per night for any additional guests over two people.
We have a typically moderate climate at the Pacific coast and do not have air conditioning.
We have many rooms which require stairs to access, we do not have elevators at the inn but will be happy to carry luggage.

303 The Magnolia Room
This handsome and spacious room will transport you to another time and place. Featured is a king sized bed, gas fireplace, two cozy chairs, and a 40" television. The bathroom has a combination shower and bathtub with spa jets. The Magnolia room has French doors which open up to a sweeping view over downtown Sausalito and across San Francisco Bay to Alcatraz, Angel Island, and the Bay Bridge. A gorgeous room you will want to revisit for every special occasion.
302 The Lilac Room
Our most Romantic room featuring an oversized bathtub with spa jets. The room has two sets of French doors leading to a private balcony with views looking over Sausalito and across San Francisco Bay. The Lilac room is on the top floor of our main building and has a king sized bed, gas fireplace, and 40" television. Gaze across the water toward San Francisco's glimmering lights in the distance. A visit that you will remember for years to come.
301 The Willow Room
Relax in this intimate skyline room with French doors that open to your own private balcony with partial views of the Bay Bridge, Tiburon peninsula, Angel Island, and San Francisco Bay. This room has a king sized bed, gas fireplace, 40" television, and two cozy reading chairs. The Willow room offers a combination shower/bathtub with spa jets and separated sink/shower areas. Enjoy a beautiful sunset from your balcony and watch the fog come in across the Bay.
206 The Bay Room
This gorgeous suite offers spectacular and expansive views across San Francisco Bay, looking out to downtown SF, Alcatraz, Treasure Island, Angel Island, Tiburon, the Bay Bridge, and the East Bay. The suite has a full-size kitchen, living room with a 40" television, wood-burning fireplace, and sofa that can also be made into a queen-size bed (upon request). The separate bedroom has a king-sized bed, flat-screen television, and views across San Francisco Bay. The suite also features a combination shower and bathtub with spa jets, and separated sink/shower rooms. Perfect for anniversaries, honeymoons, special occasions, and fantastic romantic getaways!
205 The Spruce Room
The Spruce room is a single room located on the second floor of our second building. The room has a king sized bed, 50" television, a cozy private outside deck with seating for two, and a combination shower and bathtub with spa jets.
204 The Buckeye Room
Enjoy this elegant room that sits under the tree it was named for, the Buckeye. This spacious room offers a king sized bed, gas fireplace, sleeper sofa with queen sized bed, and antique claw foot bathtub/shower. The Buckeye room has a lovely shared patio out the French doors, and cable television. This room is ideal for families. Please contact the inn if you will be needing the sofa bed.
203 The Cypress Room
Indulge in this spacious and bright room that features a king sized bed, and sleeper sofa that folds out to a queen sized bed. The bathroom offers an antique oversized claw foot bathtub and shower. The Cypress room also offers cable television and a shared patio out the French doors with “peek a-boo” Bay view. This room is ideal for families. Please contact the inn if you will be needing the sofa bed.
202 The Redwood Room
Unwind in this tranquil room that is accessed from the Inn’s rear veranda. This serene room has an open feeling with Victorian height ceilings, a king sized bed, fireplace, and cable television. The bathroom offers a bathtub with shower and spa jets.
201 The Maple Room ADA
Delight in this pleasing room that features a queen sized bed, armoire, cable television, large Victorian windows, and a spacious bathroom with oversized shower.

The Juniper room is right on Princess St. with quick access to the boutique shops in downtown Sausalito. The room has a king sized bed, 10" high ceilings, a wood burning fireplace, and 35" flat screen television. The Juniper room also has a large bay window which looks onto the shops on Princess Street.
103 The Laurel Room
The Laurel Room features a queen sized bed. The room fits snuggly into a very historic inn with a lovely wooden armoire, 42" flat screen television, and bathtub/shower combination with spa jets.
102 The Sycamore Room
Escape into this warm and snug room for quiet relaxation. The Sycamore room features a queen sized bed, raised fireplace, cozy reading nook, and desk with cable television. The bathroom offers a standard bathtub with shower.
101 The Cedar Room
Relax into this tranquil room with French doors that open to a lovely modest garden area. This room offers a king sized bed, gas fireplace, loveseat, and 40" television. The bathroom has a combination shower and bathtub with spa jets.

Cottage - 105
Cottage room 105 is in a separate building adjacent to the hotel on Princess Street. The room offers a king size bed and exterior patio with direct access to Princess Street. The room also has a small kitchen with microwave and refrigerator, 42" television, and bathtub/shower combination.
Cottage - 106
Cottage room 106 is in a separate building adjacent to the inn on Princess Street. The room is ADA accessible and offers a queen size bed and fully accessible shower. The room has a shared patio with direct access to Princess Street, 42" television, and microwave/refrigerator.

Cottage room 207 has a king size bed and view of San Francisco Bay from inside the room. Cottage room 207 also has a full kitchen. The room offers a large shared exterior front porch with views of San Francisco Bay and Princess Street in Sausalito. The room has a full bathroom with large tiled shower.
Cottage - 208
This room is in a separate cottage adjacent to the hotel on Princess street. The cottage has a beautiful front porch with views of San Francisco Bay and views from inside the room as well. The room as a king sized bed and offers complimentary coffee service.

Apartment 2 is a one bedroom apartment on the third floor of an adjacent building. The room has a full kitchen, living and dining area, and a separate bedroom. The bedroom has a king sized bed. The sofa in the living area may be made up to a full size bed. Please request in advance if you would like the sofa bed made-up.
The apartment includes complimentary coffee and accompaniments, complimentary wireless Internet access, and a 42" television in the living area.
This room does not receive daily stay-over housekeeping service. The room is serviced prior to arrival and after check-out. Stay-over housekeeping is available for an additional fee.
