Our Rooms

The Gables Inn Sausalito is a renovated and redecorated historic boutique hotel. Separate additions include 4 rooms with panoramic bay views and a cottage with views and a large front porch. Each guest room at the Gables Inn is artfully decorated with calm furnishings, comfort-giving amenities, with accents of textures and colors that envelop you in a quiet elegance.

There is an additional $25.00 plus tax charge per night for any additional guests over two people.

We have a typically moderate climate at the Pacific coast and do not have air conditioning.

We have many rooms which require stairs to access, we do not have elevators at the inn but will be happy to carry luggage.

The Gables Inn Sausalito is a registered historic building.

We provide one Van Accessible parking space with an accessible path of travel to an accessible check-in counter.

    The Bay Room offers a spectacular and expansive view across San Francisco Bay, looking across to downtown SF, Alcatraz, Treasure Island, Angel Island, Tiburon, the Bay Bridge, and the East Bay. This suite also has a full size kitchen, a living room with a fireplace and 40" television, and a separate bedroom with a king sized bed and views across the Bay as well! The suite also offers a combination shower and bathtub with spa jets and separated sink/shower rooms. Perfect for anniversaries, honeymoons, special occasions, and fantastic romantic getaways!

    The Sequoia room is a single room on the third floor of our second building. The room has a king-sized bed and flat-screen television, an oversized bathtub with invigorating spa jets, and an outdoor patio with views of the Hills of Sausalito, San Francisco, Alcatraz, and the Bay Bridge.

    Our most Romantic room featuring an oversized bathtub with spa jets. The room has two sets of French doors leading to a private balcony with views looking over Sausalito and across San Francisco Bay. The Lilac room is on the top floor of our main building and has a king sized bed, gas fireplace, and 40" television.  Gaze across the water toward San Francisco's glimmering lights in the distance. A visit that you will remember for years to come.

    This handsome and spacious room will transport you to another time and place. Featured is a king sized bed, gas fireplace, two cozy chairs, and a 40" television. The bathroom has a combination shower and bathtub with spa jets. The Magnolia room has French doors which open up to a sweeping view over downtown Sausalito and across San Francisco Bay to Alcatraz, Angel Island, and the Bay Bridge. A gorgeous room you will want to revisit for every special occasion.

Enjoy a beautiful sunset from your balcony and watch the fog come in across the Bay.
