Sustainability
The Gables Inn Sausalito has joined the WaterSense® H2Otel Challenge, a voluntary campaign sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to help hotels across the country reduce their water and energy use. Participating hotels commit to “ACT”: assess our facility water use, change water-wasting products and practices, and track our results.
Here are some of the things we are doing to save water (and energy!) at the Gables Inn:
- Each of our guest rooms is equipped with a WaterSense labeled showerhead, which has been independently certified to save water and perform well. With every shower you take, you’ll save 4 gallons of water while still enjoying a satisfying spray.
- Reusing towels and linens in our hotel can cut the loads of laundry we need to wash by 17 percent. Just hang your towels on the racks to reuse and help us save water and energy!
We look forward to serving your green travel and event needs by actively pursuing water-efficient operations at the Gables Inn while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
