Tiburon: This fascinating town is the water and features art galleries, ferry service to Angel Island, boardwalks along the sea - with grand views of San Francisco. Belvedere Island, near Tiburon, boasts some of the most expensive homes in Marin.

Nearby Mill Valley: Six miles from The Gables Inn Sausalito, Mill Valley is popular for its boutique shopping, cafes, located at the foot of Mt. Tamalpais. The town square centers around a former railroad depot. Excellent walking village with over 50 stores, antique shops, bookstores, boutiques and galleries.
